This year was notable for being the first year we offered the Outlook Rural Health Club Master of Social Work Rural Placement Scholarship, designed to encourage students with very little scope for exposure to rural and remote practice. In 2014, this scholarship awarded two students $500 and $250 each, to assist with some of the expenses related to completing a rural placement.
