The Victorian Rural Doctors Conference


The next Rural Victorian Doctors Conference is taking place in Lorne this year from Friday the 29th of April to Sunday the 1st of May.

It has been held (nearly) every year since 1992.

It aims to promote recruitment to and effectiveness of the rural medical workforce.

Topics include:

  • A Medical Student Masterclass – which includes guides on Informed Consent; Sleep, Stress and Survival; BLS and CPR; and Minor skin surgery;
  • Lectures and Small group workstations; and
  • Networking and panel discussions!

Outlook has been given the opportunity to nominate 3rd and 4th year medical students to attend the conference for free (except travel). All you need to do is fill out the Application Form RDAV Conference 2016 and email it to
